Star Wars is one of the biggest film franchises of all time. The galaxy far, far away shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon, with new installments, spin-offs, and retcons being added to the franchise every year since 2015.


Given the unconventional release order of the films, deciding the best sequence in which to watch them isn't easy: do you start with the first movies—the original trilogy from 1977–1983—then go back to the prequels, and later move on to the new Rey trilogy?
